Spent Starter Pancakes
What to do with left over sourdough starter? Don't throw it away! Try these pancakes. They might be the best you've ever made

- Griddle or pan to cook pancakes
- Bowl
Ingredients
- 500 g starter
- 2 cups flour fresh wheat or white (240g)
- 2 eggs
- 4 Tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups milk 260g, reserve last 1/2 cup of milk and only add if necessary
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except for 1/2 cup of milk. Mix thoroughly. Add milk if necessary to achieve desired consistency. Oil griddle or pan and make pancakes. Enjoy!
