Ingredients
- Rhubarb (find a friend who has a plant!)
- Filtered water (we’ll be making aqua Fresca, water is an ingredient, filtered water is great)
- White sugar
- Vanilla extract (optional)
- All Purpose Flour (I’d recommend organic, you can get local flour! Maine Grains, One Mighty Mill)
- Butter (2 sticks at room temperature, buy local!)

ESSENTIAL! You absolutely should not try to follow along on pie without these items. Most of these are available at any good size grocery store
- Pie pan (best to have a standard pan like this: 9″ Aluminum Pie Pan – Didriks (local seller) or this, 9″ Pyrex Pie Pan – Amazon link avoid the popular “oversized” pans, they are a disaster)

- Rolling pin (I strongly prefer straight solid style like this: Fletcher’s Maple Pin – Didriks link (local seller), or Ateco Maple Rolling Pin – Amazon link (not local), even better I like straight solid with handles that don’t move, but those are really hard to find these days)
- Pastry Cloth Canvas Pastry Cloth – Didriks (local seller) or Natural Pastry Cloth – Amazon (not local)
